Editorial standards
Practical, transparent and clear about what can change.
Our goal is to help travelers make better decisions without pretending every recommendation is a permanent fact. We separate evidence, observation and judgment and keep commercial relationships visibly distinct from editorial guidance.
What we expect from every useful page
If a price, rule or schedule can change, we say so and point travelers toward a current source.
A recommendation should account for transportation, timing, heat, crowds, weather and the type of traveler—not just whether a place photographs well.
Affiliate and booking relationships are disclosed. A commission does not turn an operator into a recommendation.
When a traveler, operator or official source identifies a meaningful error, we want the page URL and evidence so it can be reviewed.
We do not present wildlife sightings as guaranteed and we prioritize current protected-area rules over old social-media advice.
The site can be candid about friction or tourism problems without reducing communities to stereotypes or treating local life as a backdrop.
